How do I add items to my shopping cart?

You can add items to your shopping cart by either using our search engine to find the item(s) that you wish to purchase or by browsing through our categories and/or our website. Once you find an item(s) you'd like to buy, simply hit the "Add to Cart" button closest to the item(s) you are interested in to add the selected item(s) to your shopping cart. At this point, you can change the quantity of items you'd like to order, delete an item, empty the shopping cart, continue shopping, or check out.


How can I delete an unwanted item from my shopping cart?

You can delete an unwanted item from your shopping cart by clicking the "Delete Item" icon located within the shopping cart at the far right of each row. If you want to delete all items from your cart, you need to press the "Empty Shopping Cart" button located under "Cart Tools."


Is the ordering process secure?

YES! Our website uses the latest 128-bit encryption technology to protect your personal information. Our ordering process is totally secure from beginning to end.


Is my order subject to sales tax?

Only orders that are shipped to addresses in Texas, California, Florida, North Carolina, and Illinois are subject to state sales tax. Sales tax is charged on the products purchased and also on the shipping and handling amount.


Why will Environmental Fees be charged?

How much do you charge for shipping and handling?

You could easily see an estimate of how much your shipping charges would be by adding an item to the shopping cart and entering your shipping zip code.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, PayPal, wire transfers, Bill Me Later, Google Checkout & eBillme, Gift Cards, Dicount Cuposn and money orders. We DO NOT CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT until we have SHIPPED your order! Most personal and company checks may be held up to 10 business days for processing.


After I have placed my order, can I check the status on it?

YES. Our site features live online order tracking. If you've ordered from SMWholesalers.com by phone and did not receive an internet password from your agent, please call 713-893-3493.


What is your return policy?

Unless otherwise specified in the item listing on our website, on the receipt or packing slip, or in the following terms, SMWholesalers.com will accept qualified and conforming products for exchange or refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. Click here for details.


My order was supposed to come with a rebate, but I can't find it. How can I get the rebate?

You can obtain your replacement rebate from Rebate Central.


How can I change the email address on my account?

Unfortunately, as the email address is your account identifier, you can't change that. You'll need to create a new account with the new information.


I sent a rebate a while ago - how do I check the status?

There is a contact phone number or web address on the rebate coupon that you submitted. Use that information to get in touch with the rebate fulfillment center. To get a copy of the rebate coupon, please visit our Rebate Center.


How do I get my tracking number?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email to the address you have provided us within 24 hours with the tracking information. If you need more information on your order, please call us at 713-893-3493 or contact us by email for assistance. Please be advised that for security reasons, we can only email tracking information to the email address on file with your order.


How do I receive technical support on my purchase?

SMWholesalers.com does not provide end-user technical support on any of the items that we sell. For warranty replacement of defective CPU chips, please call 713-893-3493. For all other products, contact the product manufacturer, using the contact information either printed on your invoice or included in the package. Please note that when calling to exchange a defective item, verification of defect by the manufacturer is required.


How much do you charge for shipping and handling?

Our customer-friendly shipping schedule is calculated on the ACTUAL WEIGHT of your shipment and the TYPE OF SHIPPING SERVICE that you specify (ground, air or overnight). Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all orders placed. If your order must be shipped in multiple boxes, or in separate shipments in the event an item is not in stock and must ship at a later date, shipping and handling charges for the entire order will be assessed at the point when the first item is shipped. We charge only ONCE for shipping and handling, for the entire order.

You could easily see an estimate of how much your shipping charges would be by adding an item to the shopping cart and entering your shipping zip code.



What shipping method does SMWholesalers.com use?

SMWholesalers.com uses UPS as the primary carrier for most small items. Should you require faster service, UPS BLUE (2-3 business day service) or UPS RED (next business day service) are available at an extra cost. All large items (over 70lbs) are shipped via Truck.

SMWholesalers.com ships from a state-of-the-art warehouse center in San Pedro California. In addition, we have a network of suppliers worldwide which can drop ship special items to you directly.

TV's, stands, projector screens and other large items are shipped via truck. Truck delivery is "Threshold Delivery" only. In most cases threshold delivery means the item will be delivered just inside the first floor front door of your home or office. If there are steps leading to your front door the item will be placed in your garage or delivered to your dock. When delivering to an apartment building delivery will be to the central lobby only. Delivery personnel will not unpack or setup the item for you and will not place it in a specific room. Normal delivery hours for Large Item Shipping are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. The delivery company will contact you at the number you provide to arrange a delivery time. Truck delivery transit time is generally between 3-9 business days and varies depending on delivery location and conditions. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and outside the continental United States require additional transit time.

 

Do I have to sign for my package?

YES! For security reasons, all shipments require a signature at the receiving location.


PROCESSING TIME:

Your order is thoroughly reviewed by our Credit Card Department to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed the rigorous review by our Credit Card Department, it is sent to our warehouse for shipment. Please note, credit card processing can take up to 3 business days (Depending on the accuracy of the information given to us by the customer.). Further, for security reasons, voice confirmation may be required before we can process your credit card for payment. If the item(s) on your order are in-stock, we will ship them as soon as possible from our main Naperville, Illinois warehouse or from one of our Distribution Warehouses located throughout the United States. If the item(s) on your order are out of stock, they will not be shipped until we have received and processed the backordered inventory in our warehouse.


TRANSIT TIME:

UPS Ground: 3 - 8 Business Days
UPS BLUE: 2-3 Business Days
UPS RED: Next Business Day



TOTAL TIME FOR DELIVERY:

Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 days for in-stock items.
